Charisse Allen is an established, faith-filled educator and instructional education coach. She earned an M.Ed. and a B.A. in Social Work. She is the daughter of Martin and Dorsey.

Charisse believes that the images children are exposed to can affect their self-esteem and self-worth. As a result, she was inspired to enter the publishing field and author her first book, Zeek and Dem Bones. Its mission is to publish a series of books titled, Visions in Color, which will reflect images of children of color and various nationalities and supply the untapped market with culturally diverse bible stories for children. Charisse hopes all children will see themselves as viable and valuable in God’s eyes, as Isaiah 54:13 (NKJV) says, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”
